Aron Mercer is one of the founding team at Xceptional, a social enterprise dedicated to creating meaningful careers for neurodivergent people. Identifying as neurodivergent, Aron has a deep drive to correct an unbalanced traditional recruitment system. Since launching in 2017, Xceptional has established itself as a trusted partner for employers and a strong advocacy voice for neurodivergent people. Xceptional’s unique work has been recognised with awards from Google.org, AMP, St.George, Westpac and Optus. Before Xceptional Aron had a 15-year commercial career with Salmat, Experian & Australia Post where he was responsible for product launches, market development and commercial growth through the Asia Pacific. Aron’s passions include a business that blendz profit and purpose, employment inclusion, family and overseas travel.
